Despite a shorter screening period compared to other blockbusters on the list of most-viewed movies after the Islamic Revolution, 'Seventy Thirty' also clinched the title of Iran’s highest-grossing film.
"Barat and Parviz try to keep Yaqoub, who won a lottery prize, alive until he receives it, planning to take a share. However, a doctor says Yaqoub will soon die, complicating their scheme to benefit from his winnings," a short synopsis for the film 'Seventy Thirty' reads.
Samuel Khachikian's 'Eagles' topped the list, followed by Karim Amini's 'Fossil' and 'Hotel' by Masoud Atyabi.
'Kani-Manga' by Seifollah Dad gained the fifth spot.
