As we watch the 2003 series ‘Innocence Lost’ on iFilm TV, let’s take a moment to remember the late actors who brought this historical drama to life.

Although they are no longer with us, their performances continue to entertain and inspire viewers around the world.

Davoud Rashidi (1933-2016)

Rashidi portrayed Na’aman, the governor of Kufa. His character was known for being an easy-going man who showed mercy to his people and respected their beliefs. Rashidi's nuanced performance brought depth to this compassionate and complex character.

Ebrahim Abadi (1934-2019)

Abadi played Abu Mosayyeb, a greedy man constantly scheming to accumulate wealth. Abadi's portrayal of this ambiguous character highlighted the struggles and corruption of those seeking personal gain at any cost.

Arjmand took on the role of Al-Hajjaj ibn Yusuf, one of the most notorious rulers of the Umayyad Caliphate. His powerful performance made Al-Hajjaj a memorable character.

Amiri-Moqaddam portrayed Abu Moshir, a cunning man who, along with his friend Abu Mosayyeb, devised various schemes to embezzle money from the treasury.
