Late actor, voice actor Manouchehr Nozari to be commemorated

Late Iranian actor, voice actor Manouchehr Nozari is to be commemorated in famous radio program.

Late Iranian actor and voice actor Manouchehr Nozari has been scheduled to be commemorated in the famous radio program ‘Friday Mornings with You’.

Sajed Qoddousian, producer and chief editor of the commemoration program said Nozari will be honored on December 2.

He was voice actor of some main characters in ‘Friday Mornings with You’.

Nozari made his dubbing debut in radio in 1954 before turning to acting in 1963 when he appeared in the film ‘Red Tulip’, directed by Mahmoud Nozari and Houshang Latifpour.

Manouchehr then made his directorial debut with ‘Eyvallah’ in 1971. In the 1970s, he went to Egypt where he produced the film ‘Hello, I am a Cat’ in 1978.

Upon his return to Iran, he began directing the popular radio show, ‘Friday Mornings with You’.

The father of Iranian actor Iraj Nozari, Manouchehr appeared in many movies and series, including ‘Aqaqiya Alley’, ‘Brothers-in-Law’ and ‘How Much for You to Cry?’.

He passed away in 2005.

‘Friday Mornings with You’ has been a radio program with a comedy theme which satires social, moral and political issues of Iran.
