Iran vocalist performs at Imam Reza (AS) holy shrine

Famed Iran vocalist Mohammad Motamedi has performed Iranian traditional music at the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS).   

The grabbing voice of Iranian vocalist Motamedi cuts through the silence of Imam Reza’s (AS) holy shrine amid the pandemic in Iran and other countries.

The singer performed the traditional music piece for a live internet program streaming a few hours before the dawn of each day during the holy month of Ramadan.  

Imam Reza (AS) is the eighth Shia Imam and his holy shrine is located in the Iranian city of Mashhad. Due to the pandemic, pilgrims pay their tributes to the revered Islamic figure at home and watch online programs showing the holy shrine.
