iFilm English TV has presented an exclusive report on holding film festivals during the coronavirus era.

The TV interviewed the secretary of the Fajr International Film Festival Mohammad-Mehdi Asgarpour, the deputy secretary of the Fajr International Film Festival Amir Esfandiari, film producer and director Alireza Dehqan, and film director Maryam Bahrololoumi.

The interviews were recorded on the sideline of the 38th edition of the Fajr International Film Festival (FIFF) in Tehran.

This year, the FIFF was held in a hybrid format, including physical and virtual events, on May 26-June 2.

The 2020 edition of the FIFF was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Since its establishment in 1982, the Fajr Film Festival has played a vital role in the development of Iranian Cinema.

The 39th edition of the national version of the festival was held on January 31-February 10.
