iFilm English to air classic movie ‘Hamoon’

iFilm’s feature film ‘Hamoon’ has been scheduled to go on air on December 25, 2021.

The movie, written and directed by Darioush Mehrjouee and produced by Mohammad-Ali Soltanzadeh, Haroun Yashayaee, and the director, is about Hamid Hamoon.

He always, at odds with his wife Mahshid, reviews his nightmarish life. He’s writing a thesis on love and faith, so he starts looking for his friend and spiritual guide.

On his journey, in a fit of madness, he even tries to commit suicide but is saved by his friend.

The cast list of the movie includes the late Khosro Shakibaee, the late Ezzatollah Entezami, the late Fath-Ali Oveisi, Sima Tirandaz, and Bita Farrahi.

‘Hamoon’, made in 1989, is scheduled to go on air at 22:00 GMT.

iFilm English TV will also repeat the movie the next day at 04:00, 10:00 and 16:00 (all GMT times).
