Standalone Film Festival in the US to showcase ‘Goodnight Melika’

Iranian short ‘Goodnight Melika’ is to vie at the 2022 Standalone Film Festival & Awards Worldwide in the US.

Iranian short film ‘Goodnight Melika’ has found a place at the competition lineup of the 2022 Standalone Film Festival & Awards Worldwide (SFFA) in California, the US.

Written and directed by Alborz Poursayad, ‘Goodnight Melika’ will be vying at the 2nd edition of the Standalone fest, which is due for February 2022.

‘Goodnight Melika’ is the winner of the Best International Short Film in the November-December Session of 2021 White Unicorn International Film Festival (WUIFF).

“When no one wants you, you sleep with the aim of not waking up, may be forever…,” a brief synopsis for the film reads.

The Standalone Film Festival & Awards Worldwide (SFFA) is created for independent filmmakers and content creators.

The festival hold an online Award Nomination Festival, live screenings, and Standalone Award Show in Los Angeles.

The Award Nomination Festival will be held for 4 months between Dec-March.
