Bird's-eye view of Iran’s Mashhad City

Known as the spiritual capital of the country, Mashhad is one of the largest cities in Iran.

Mashhad lies in northeast of Iran. It is the provincial capital of Razavi Khorasan Province.

The city is home to the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS), the eighth Shia Imam.

The holy shrine attracts many Shia Muslims pilgrims from Iran and across the world.
