Kaboudwall Waterfall, Iran’s largest moss waterfall

Kaboudwall Waterfall in Mazandaran Province in north of Iran is one of the popular natural attractions of Iran.

Located 3 kilometers from Aliabad-e katul City, the waterfall is the largest full-moss waterfall of Iran.

Water in Kaboudwall comes from runoff after rainfalls formed in a halo of bright green lights. The lights are reflected from the glow of green moss on the rocks.

Located 1780 meters above the sea level, the fall is registered on Iran’s natural heritage list.
