Kimia to become mother: iFilm scene cut

On the 70th episode of ‘Kimia’, while the war is raging inside the country, a bomb will cause Kimia a new heartbreak.

The happy events of Kimia’s life do not last so long. She has recently found out that her life with Arash will not be as she expected and so she filed for a divorce.

Back to Khoramshahr, Kimia was about to find peace next to her closest friend Salma, whose life is now at stake following the bombing of the city.

In a promo cut from tonight’s episode of the series that will hit the air at 19:00 GMT, Kimia is forced to take care of Salma’s newborn baby Azadeh. Do you think she is at a stage of her life to become mother to her best friend’s child?

Directed by Javad Afshar and produced by Mohammad-Reza Shafiee, ‘Kimia’ tells the story of a woman’s life during extremely important events in Iran’s contemporary history.

Kimia Parsa was a young girl living in the city of Khorramshahr during the reign of the country’s former king, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi.

We follow her as she experiences the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Saddam Hussein’s war on the country, and the present day.

As she experiences some of the most tumultuous times in recent history, her life is ravaged by pain and sorrow. Still, she refuses to give up hope and carries on.

Azita Hajiyan, Mehdi Soltani-Sarvestani, Gelareh Abbasi, Pouriya Poursorkh, Hassan Pourshirazi, Reza Kianian, Mohammad-Reza Sharifinia, Niki Karimi, Mehraveh Sharifinia, and Mehdi Pakdel make up the castlist of this 110-episode series.
