Fajr theater festival extends submission deadline

The Fajr International Theater Festival (FITF) has extended the deadline for the submission of works to its 41st edition.

The secretary of the festival announced that the deadline would be extended until Saturday at the request of enthusiastic theatrical troupes.

The 41st edition of the Fajr International Theater Festival will be headed by Kourosh Zarei.

The annual Fajr International Theater Festival was established in the early 1980s.

It features local and international theatrical works and performances.

The upcoming edition of the FITF is scheduled for February 2023.

The Fajr festivals, that also include visual arts, film, and music events, coincide with the Ten-Day Fajr ceremonies across Iran, marking the anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
