iFilm English TV to air new series ‘Buried Treasure 3’

The third season of Iranian series ‘Buried Treasure’ has been set to go on iFilm English TV Channel’s schedule from Monday.

Produced by Reza Nasirinia and directed by Jalil Saman, the series is a humorous-historical TV series, set in the 1970s and 1980s, that tells the story of a man named Fariborz Bagh Bisheh, who is in search of buried treasures.

Throughout the series, he gets involved in various situations, such as being dragged into the Iraq-Iran war and finding his missing brother, Farhad.

In the third season, Fariborz is taken to a prisoner-of-war camp in Iraq and is mistaken for one of the senior commanders.

The cast list of the series includes Pejman Jamshidi, Houman Barqnavard, Zhaleh Sameti, Rayan Sarlak, Nader Fallah, Asghar Naqizadeh, Giti Qassemi, Nasrin Nosrati, Payam Ahmadinia, and Ramin Rastad.

‘Buried Treasure 3’, made in 2021, is scheduled to replace the second season of the series, to be on iFilm’s screen every day at 18:00 GMT.

iFilm English TV will also repeat each episode of the new series the next day at 00:00, 09:00 and 15:00. It is comprised of 14 episodes.
