According to IRNA, the jurors for this year’s event are Mohammad-Reza Sharafeddin, Homayoun Asadian, Mehdi Faraji, Zhaleh Sameti, and Rouhollah Sohrabi.
Mohammad-Reza Sharafeddin is a seasoned film producer, special effects expert, and former general manager of the Revolutionary Cinema and Sacred Defense Association. His multifaceted contributions have played a vital role in shaping Iran’s sacred defense cinema.
Homayoun Asadian, a prolific producer, screenwriter, and director, is a leading member of the Iranian Directors Association. His works are widely acclaimed within the country’s cinematic circles.
Mehdi Faraji has an extensive background in both film and television production. As a cultural director and long-time executive at the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), Faraji has had a lasting impact on Iranian media and broadcasting.
Zhaleh Sameti, a celebrated actress of stage, screen, and television, is also an esteemed acting teacher. She is considered a pillar of contemporary Iranian theatre.
Rouhollah Sohrabi is a producer, writer, and director, with additional roles as a university professor and cultural manager. His career includes leadership positions in the Cinema Organization and Sacred Defense Cinema Association.
Hosted at the Museum of the Islamic Revolution and Sacred Defense, the festival is backed by the Revolution and Sacred Defense Cinema Association and the Fath Cultural Institute, AKA Revayate Fath (Narration of Triumph).
Running until May 23, the event remains open to the public, showing films that reflect themes of resistance, bravery, and national identity.
