Esmaeeli, Habib (born 1950, Tehran)

Habib Esmaeeli began his artistic career in 1969 with theater.

He made his cinematic debut in 1979 with the movie ‘Flying towards Minoo’.

Esmaeeli has appeared in a lot of movies, including ‘Investigating a Crime’ (1983), ‘Closed Circuit’ (1985), ‘The Last Picture’ (1986), ‘Consignment’ (1987), ‘Treasure’ (1987), ‘The Grey Years’ (1988), ‘The Game is Over’ (1989), ‘The Chump’ (1991), ‘The Exiles’ (1991), ‘Stunt’ (1993), ‘Impressive Day’ (1994), ‘Restore Security’ (1995), ‘The Actor’ (1999), ‘The Taxi Driver’ (2006), ‘Free Way’ (2010) and ‘360 Degrees’ (2014).

He has also worked as a producer. ‘Impressive Day’ (1994), ‘Red’ (1998), ‘Ghazal’ (2001), ‘In Love’ (2006), ‘The Taxi Driver’ (2006), ‘Memory’ (2008) and ‘Don’t Put Your Feet Down’ (2008) are among the movies which he has produced.
