Tahmasb, Iraj (born 1969, Tehran)

Iraj Tahmasb was born in the Iranian capital, Tehran. 

He made his film debut in 'Beyond the Fog' (1985), directed by Manouchehr Asgarinasab. 

Tahmasb’s first experience in showbiz was as a host in a puppet show called 'Postbox', with the famous character named Red Hat.

He directed, wrote the script and acted in 'Red Hat and Cousin' (1994), 'Once Upon A Time' (2000), 'The Pastry Girl' (2001), 'Red Hat and Sarvenaz' (2002), 'Under the Peach Tree' (2005) and 'Red Hat and The Mama’s Boy' (2011).

He has also appeared in series such as 'The Beauty Shop' (1990), 'Odd Family' (1988) and 'Red Hat' (2009, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015).
