Hengameh Qaziani has a BA in Human and Economic Geography from Islamic Azad University and a Masters degree in Western Philosophy from University of San Francisco, the US.
She made her debut in 2000 with Hasan Hedayat’s ‘Light and Shadow’ (2000) before experiencing stage acting.
Hengameh is also a book translator, publishing a few translation works.
Qaziani has appeared in several series, including ‘Ancient Land’ (2010), as well as movies such as ‘Slowly’ (2005), ‘Eqlima’ (2006), ‘Featherless Peacocks’ (2008), ‘Migraine’ (2011), ‘I’m a Mother’ (2011), ‘The Married Life of Mr. Mahmoudi and His Spouse’ (2012) and ‘Conditional Release’ (2013).
She has received Crystal Simorghs from the Fajr International Film Festival for Best Actress in a Leading Role by appearing in ‘As Simple As That’ (2007) as well as ‘The Days of Life’ (2011).
She was also honored with the Best Actress In a Supporting role award for ‘Saadat Abad’ (2010) from House of Cinema Celebration.
