Jafari, Qasem (born 1969, Tehran)
Qasem Jafari is a graduate of the Filmmaking Academy.
He began directing and film production with the movie ‘The Kind Moon’ in 1995.
Soon after directing his second movie in 1996, he began making television series.
Jafari has directed some of the most popular television series, including ‘The Red Line’ (2001) and ‘Passenger from India’ (2002).
He has also directed some series, such as ‘Help Me’ (2004) and ‘Like a Stranger’ (2004).
Jafari has directed and produced a few movies, including ‘Dawn’ (2006), ‘White and Black’ (2009), and ‘Girls’ (2009), for which he received the Critics Award and the Golden Butterfly from the 24th International Children Film Festival.
