Takavar, Masoud (born 1970, Tehran)

Masoud Takavar first debuted as a film actor but did not continue in his acting career. He later turned to work as an editor, assistant director and also makeup artist.

He then experienced directing and made his first feature film in 2000. He has made movies such as ‘Heart’ (2005) and ‘Cold Sun’ (2006).

Takavar has also directed some series, including ‘Last Song of the Phoenix’ (2002) and ‘Pioneer’ (2008).

As an actor he has appeared in movies such as ‘The Passengers’ (1991).
