Sheikh-Tadi, Parviz (born 1961, Abadan)

Parviz Sheikh-Tadi is an Iranian director, scriptwriter, and scene and costume designer.

He has directed several movies, including ‘The Land of Grandfather’ (1998), ‘Behind the Fog’ (2004), ‘Dinosaur’ (2007), ‘Saturday Hunter’ (2009), and ‘The Days of Life’ (2011).

Sheikh-Tadi has written scripts for some of his movies as well.

He also has experience in scene and costume designing as well as acting in the movie ‘From Karkheh to Rhein’ (1992).

Sheikh-Tadi won a Crystal Simorgh for Best Director at the 30th edition of the Fajr Film Festival for ‘The Days of Life’.
