Baqeri, Mahlaqa (born 1981, Tehran)

Mahlagha Baqeri received her BFA in Theater Directing from Sooreh University in Iran and a Master’s degree in the same major from Tarbiat Modares University.

She has been present at various national and international festivals thus far due to her acting and directing experiences in theater plays.

Among the Television series featuring the actress include ‘Mozaffar's Garden’ (2007) and ‘Bitter Coffee’ (2010) directed by Mehran Modiri, as well as ‘Huge Problems 2’ (2015) by Borzou Niknejad.

She is the wife to Iranian comedy superstar Mohammad-Javad Ezzati. In 2017, the actress starred in the third season of Iranian TV show 'Dorehami' (Gathering) by Modiri.

The actress has quite a resume in directing as well as appearning in theater plays.
