The movie depicts the aftermath of war, even after decades. Twenty-five years after the invasion of Iran by the then Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein, Maryam goes back to Iraq looking for her sister who was taken by an Iraqi soldier and raised by him. After the fall of Saddam Hussein, Maryam makes it her mission to fulfill her mother’s dying wish, which is seeing her long-lost daughter.
