Iranian film ‘Orange Days’ is slated to compete at the Calgary International Film Festival in Canada.
Directed by Arash Lahooti, this would be the second international screening of the film.
The film is about a tough female farm contractor who proves to be able to compete with male competitors. She leads the group of female workers who work for her on a large harvest.
Her efforts remain futile while anyone involved in her story tries to fail her.
Iranian award-winning actress Hediyeh Tehrani plays the role of the 40-year-old contractor- Aban in the film.
ifilm series 'The British Briefcase' star Ali Mossafa and Mehran Ahmadi who portrayed the villain role of Shakib in 'The Sound of Rain' are also among the cast of the flick.
The Calgary International Film Festival is a film festival held annually in Calgary, Alberta, Canada for twelve days.
The 18th edition of Calgary Film Festival will be held from September 20 to October 1, 2017.
