Theater fest in Armenia is set to pay tribute to late Iranian actor Levon Haftvan.
High Fest International Performing Arts Festival in Armenia will be hosting a photo exhibition as well as a conference themed on Haftvan who had Armenian roots.
The photo exhibition will be held on October 1 at a theater hall in Armenian capital city of Yerevan.
Iranian-Armenian thespian died Saturday, March 10 at the age of 51 following the incident which occurred on the set of a new production he was shooting.
Haftvan was born 1966 in the Iranian capital city of Tehran.
The actor played the lead in award-winning film 'Kupal' which narrates the story of Dr. Ahmad Kupal, a taxidermist hunter who faces a challenge just before the Persian New Year.
The late actor staged a theatrical work titled ‘The Yalta Game’ in 2017, a media report said.
The 16th edition of the HF event is slated for September 28- October 5, 2018.
