First-week gross for ‘Lasagna’ reaches 10 billion Rials

Iran film ‘Lasagna’ has succeeded to sell 10 billion Rials at the ticket window during its first week of screening.

Directed by Hossein Ghena'at and produced by Ahmad Ahmadi, the flick succeeded to rake 10 billion Rials at the first week of screening.

Since a movie's first week at the box office has always been important in terms of marketing and drawing interest in the film, it is expected that ‘Lasagna’ remains on top of the bestselling chart in the weeks ahead.

The stars that appear in the film are Seyyed Javad Razavian, Arjang Amir-Fazli, Behnoush Bakhtiyari, Nafiseh Roshan, Reza Naji, Saed Hedayati and Yousef Teymouri.

“I’m consumed with your desire!… Literally consumed! I won’t leave you till I have you,” the tagline for ‘Lasagna’ read.
