Iranian feature ‘Shahrbanou’ has released brand new footage from the film’s set following the completion of the shooting stage.
Upon its release, new details were unveiled on other members of the film’s main cast, among which are Behnaz Jafari and Yousef Teymouri.
The two has joined a lineup which includes Gelareh Abbasi, Fereshteh Sadr-Orafaee, Mehrdad Seddiqian, and Mohammad-Reza Ghaffari.
‘Shahrbanou’ is a social drama depicting the story of a family dealing with an unspecified challenge.
Director Maryam Bahrololoumi’s second feature as a director has entered the editing stage after undergoing nearly two months of filming in the capital city of Tehran.
Bahrololoumi was the recipient of the 36th Fajr Film Festival’s Best First Film Director award for her directing debut ‘Patio’.
Produced by Pegah Ahmadi, the film is scheduled for a late-March premiere.
