Teaser trailer for Kurdish-language ‘Mandoo’ directed by Iranian director Ebrahim Saeedi has been officially released.
Iran’s “Art and Experience” group has started screening greatly admired Kurdish-language film ‘Mandoo’ from April 22, as previously scheduled. Farhang cinema, Charsou cineplex, Cinema Museum and Kourosh cineplex are among the group members screening the flick.
With a focus on the issue of migration, the Iranian cinematic group has shown Iraq production ‘Mandoo’ in the Kurdish language with Persian subtitles.
The flick, globally distributed by France-based Dreamlab Films, has attended several international festivals in different countries, including Switzerland, Canada, Poland, the UAE, Ukraine, the US, South Korea, and Serbia.
Special jury prize at Beirut International Film Festival and FIPRESCI award at Golden Apricot Yerevan International Film Festival are among credits of ‘Mandoo’.
“Art and Experience” cinematic group is an opportunity to show worthwhile movies chosen from non-commercial ones in a bid to demonstrate the brilliance of their creators. It strives to make a profound impact on improving Iranian movie-goers' knowledge regarding films as well as flourishing artistic aspects of Iranian cinema.
