Iran’s veteran actor Mohammad-Ali Keshavarz has been laid to rest in Iran’s capital, Tehran.
Keshavarz passed away on Sunday at the age of 90.
His funeral took place on Tuesday, with a number of senior officials and artists attending the ceremony.
Mohammad-Ali Keshavarz began his acting career by taking part in the play 'Violinmaker' in 1960.
He appeared in various series including, 'Hezar Dastan', 'Sarbedaran', 'The Patriarch', 'Youth' and 'Night Path'.
Keshavarz made his cinematic debut with 'The Night of the Hunchback' in 1964.
He also appeared in many movies such as 'The Last Supper', 'Kamal-ol-Molk', 'Mirza Nowruz's Shoes', 'The Fateful Day', and 'Waiting'.
He was nominated for a Fajr Film Festival Crystal Simorgh for Best Actor for his role in 'Mother' (1989).
