Puran Derakhshandeh is to make a film depicting male victims of child abuse.
Puran Derakhshandeh who made a film about the female victims of child abuse is now shifting to make a film to depict boys who are the victims of the same issue.
In an interview with Persian service of MNA on Monday she announced that she is currently studying the issue to write a screenplay for the film.
She also added that the name of the film would be “Hush! Boys Don’t Cry” but she did not say any thing about the plot of the film.
Directed in 2014, “Hush! Girls Don’t Scream” by Puran Derakhshandeh was screened at many international events and won several prizes, including the Diamond Award at the International Independent Film Awards in Los Angeles.
