Iranian Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Reza Salehi-Amiri has condemned plagiarism and difficulties in the cultural field, calling for ratification of new copyright bill by the parliament.
Iranian Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Reza Salehi-Amiri who was speaking at the 7th National Conference on Copyright at the National Library and Archives of Iran stressed the importance of copyright law and asked the parliament to ratify the copyright bill.
Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance noted that cultural fields in our country have faced difficulties because of plagiarism.
He added that people who are active in cultural fields must feel safer and this can not be accomplished unless the the parliament approves new copyright bill.
The new copyright bill was submitted to the parliament last May.
