Iran’s ‘Bubble’ crowned best at Berlin Indie Film Festival

Iranian short film ‘Bubble’ has succeeded to win the Best Experimental Film award from the 2021 Berlin Indie Film Festival (BIFF).

Directed by Hamed Orib, ‘Bubble’ narrates the story of a man who leaves his country and highlights a person's efforts for finding a way to continue life in another country.

The movie had earlier received an award from FFTG Awards 2021.

‘Bubble’ has been filmed in Iran and Turkey.

The Berlin Indie Film Festival is a monthly international film festival with annual live screenings with a mission to discover new talent and promote young directors’ work and creativity.

Every month, the monthly winning film and documentaries are selected and programmed for the annual screening event, which will be held in cooperation with the Dante Alighieri Society in Berlin.
