‘Butterfly Stroke’ releases behind-the-scenes

Iranian flick ‘Butterfly Stroke’ releases behind-the-scenes.

Iranian award-winning movie ‘Butterfly Stroke’ has released behind-the-scenes footage, featuring Javad Ezzati.

The released video shows how it was like for the Iranian comedian and star of ‘Huge Problems’ comedy series to portray the serious role of a brother whose sister-in-law has been disgraced.

‘Butterfly Stroke’ is about a woman named Parvaneh, who works in a swimming pool, not knowing that she is being filmed.

Later, when the recorded footage goes viral on social media platforms, her husband kills her and is sent behind the bars.

Then, her brother-in-law seeks to take revenge on the person who has shot and released the video.

The film was premiered at the 38th Fajr Film Festival in Iran, where it received 15 nominations and won seven awards.

The awards list for the flick includes the best actress in a supporting role for Tannaz Tabatabaee and the best actor in a supporting role for Amir Aqaee.
