Iranian short ‘Radde’ wins award in US filmfest

Iranian short flick ‘Radde’ has grabbed the Best Film Award at the fifth edition of the Ocean City Film Festival (OCFF) in the US.

Written and directed by Ali Lavari-Monfared, the film narrates the story of a fisherman who does his best to save the sea all alone.

The only actor of the short film is Mehdi Makkarian.

According to the official website of the OCFF, “The Ocean City Film Festival has built a community of filmmakers both locally and internationally for 4 consecutive seasons. The OCFF prioritizes uniqueness and diversity in its selection”.

The fifth edition of the festival was held on March 4-11 and will screen the winning titles on March 27.
