iFilm English TV to air ‘God is Near’ on Saturday

iFilm’s feature film ‘God is Near’ has been scheduled to be aired on August 28, 2021.

The spiritual movie, produced by Javad Norouzbeigi and written and directed by Ali Vazirian, is about a naïve young man who falls in love.

After his older brother’s death, a naïve young man named Reza becomes the breadwinner of his family. He uses his brother’s old motorcycle to earn money.

After the village’s new school teacher catches his eye, Reza tries in his own sweet but futile way to win her heart. His heartache eventually leads to a spiritual experience, and ultimately, to his true love.

The movie’s cast list includes Mina Jafarzadeh, Babak Hamidiyan, Elnaz Shakerdoust, and Saeed Nikpour.

‘God is Near’, made in 2006, is scheduled to go on air at 22:00 GMT.

ifilm English will also repeat the movie the next day at 04:00, 10:00 and 16:00 (all GMT times).
