‘Sky Sun, Tile Sun’ to screen at LAMPA filmfest

Iranian animation ‘Sky Sun, Tile Sun’ is slated to be screened at the LAMPA - International festival of short films, social video and advertising in Russia.

Directed by Ziba Arzhang, the film will vie at the animation section of the 2021 edition of the event.

The 6-minute film is about a city painted on a tile that undergoes intense explosion and bombardment.

Due to the incident, the sun breaks into many pieces and the city gets dark. But the people build a new sun together.

The short animation participated in some global events, including the Sonoma International Film Festival in the US and the London Kurdish Film Festival in the UK.

The internationally recognized LAMPA festival promotes the concepts of volunteering and charity through cinema.

Every year, the festival attracts many professional and amateur filmmakers who work on socially significant ideas.

This year’s edition of the event is scheduled for October 15-18.
