‘Spring in Autumn’ wins best film award at Ahora es Corto fest

Iranian short film ‘Spring in Autumn’ has grabbed the Best Film Award at the 5th edition of the Ahora es Corto Film Festival in Spain.

Directed by Ghasideh Golmakani, the short film narrates the story of a woman who is leaving her husband after many years.

Filmed in Russia and Iran, the short film has participated in more than 30 international festivals.

The main actors of the short are Sima Bourgin and Reza Kianian. Other members of the film’s cast are Saba Mohammadi and Sarina Moghadam.

The Ahora es Corto Film Festival aims to show quality films from around the world.

The festival holds an independent competition with the slogan “short films tell great stories”. 

The latest edition of the event was held on September 3-11, 2021.
