‘White Clad’ to vie at Amity Short filmfest

Iranian short film ‘White Clad’ is scheduled to vie at the International Amity Short Film Festival in Turkey.

Iranian short film ‘White Clad’ is scheduled to vie at the International Amity Short Film Festival in Turkey.

Reza Fahimi’s short film will be screened at the main competition section of the 4th edition of the festival.

The film tells the story of an old woman who gives some cheese to Ahmad, a ten-year-old boy, and asks him to give it to his father who is a teacher in the village, so the father can mediate and stop the execution of her young son.

'White Clad' is the recipient of the grand prize of the international competition of the 37th Tehran International Short Film Festival (TISFF).

The short has already participated in the 2021 Short Shorts Film Festival in Japan and the 43rd Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival in France.

Launched in 2017, the three-day Amity festival promotes films about friendship and amity.

This year’s edition of the event is slated for December 1-5.
