Iranian doc wins at IDFA in the Netherlands

Iranian documentary ‘Water, Wind, Dust, Bread’ has won the Jury Award at the 34th edition of the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam in the Netherlands.

Directed by Mehdi Zamanpour Kiasari, the documentary is a colorful depiction of the life of two kids named Abolfazl and Setayesh.

Despite all the hardships, these two kids are doing their best to live a happy life, a life that is different from others.

The documentary has also participated in the Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival in Czech Republic.

The 34th edition of the IDFA is being held in person and includes film screenings, discussions, and presents an interactive experience.

The festival is being held on November 17-28, 2021.
