Iranian film ‘No Choice’ to be screened in US

Iranian film ‘No Choice’ is to go on screen at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, in the US.

Directed by Reza Dormishian, ‘No Choice’ has been scheduled to go on screen at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, in the US.

The movie that will be screened on January 22 is about women and their issues in society.

The cast list includes Parsa Pirouzfar, Negar Javaherian, Fatemeh Motamed-Arya, Parivash Nazariyeh, Mayam Boubani, Jaleh Olov, Babak Karimi, Homayoun Ershadi, Reza Behboudi, and Pardis Ahmadieh.

It has already taken part in various global events such as the Tokyo International Film Festival in Japan, the Chennai International Film Fest, the Thrissur International Film Festival, the Bangalore International Film Festival, and the Pune International Film Festival, all in India, as well as the Asiatica Film Festival in Italy, where it grabbed three awards for Best Film, Best Audience choice, and Best NETPAC film.

The Museum of Fine Arts in Houston is one of the largest museums in the US that screens best films from around the world beside the exhibition of artworks.

The screening program will be held on January 21-23, 2022.
