Greek fest to host ‘Sewing Machine’

Iranian animated short film ‘Sewing Machine’ is scheduled to vie at the Athens Animfest in Greece.

The 7-minute animation directed by Najmeh Hashem al-Hosseini will represent Iran at the 2022 edition of the festival.

‘Sewing Machine’ narrates the story of a single mother earning her living from sewing. Her little daughter has naughty behavior in the sewing workshop where the mother works.

Given that the animation has no dialogue, sound and design are the main elements in the short animation.

Athens Animfest aims to bring the younger generation closer to the secrets and fascination of the art of animation and their diverse applications on the small and big screen, the multimedia, the Internet and education in general.

The Athens ANIMFEST provides animation fans with a program full of shorts and feature animations.

The 16th edition of the event is scheduled for March 17-22, 2022.
