iFilm to air ‘The Gradual Death of a Dream’

iFilm English TV channel has been scheduled to televise ‘The Gradual Death of a Dream’ series from Tuesday evening.

Directed by Fereydoun Jeyrani, the first part of the 28-episode show will hit the air on Tuesday evening March 08 at 23:00 GMT. Each part will repeat three times the next day at 05:00, 11:00 and 17:00 all GMT times.

The series is about Maral, a young aspiring author, and Hamed, a publisher and university professor. They fell in love and got married, but there is a large gap between them. Maral’s sister, Sanaz who is a divorcee alcoholic, takes advantage of her sister’s talent and the rocky relationship to leave Iran. But will the dream of greener grass in new pastures, survive the journey?

Setareh Eskandari, Danial Hakimi, Poulad Kimiaee, Shiva Khonyagar, Pourandokht Mohaymen, Farideh Sepah-Mansour, Kianoush Gerami, Asha Mehrabi, and Mahsa Keramati are among the cast members of the show.

‘The Gradual Death of a Dream’ will replace ‘The Gift of Darkness’ directed by Jalil Saman.
