Iranian short film ‘File’ has been slated to have its first international appearance at the BFI London Film Festival 2022 in the United Kingdom.

Directed by Sonia Haddad, the 20-minute short will be on screen at the Feel the Rush of Adrenalin section of the 66th edition of the English film event.

A brief synopsis for the flick reads, “A six-year-old’s speech disorder is unexpectedly investigated when his mother takes him for a routine pre-school health screening”.

Mahin Sadri, Amir Ali Taherabadi, Elaheh Afshari, Javad Pouladi and Mojtaba Rajabi comprise the cast list of the ‘File’.

The BFI London Film Festival is an annual film festival founded in 1953. The event runs for two weeks in October with cooperation from the British Film Institute. It screens more than 300 films, documentaries and shorts from approximately 50 countries.

This year’s film event will take place in the United Kingdom on October 5-16.
