Imam Khomeini's hometown hosting art gallery

An art expo entitled 'On Threshold of Sun' has been set up in Khomein, the hometown of Imam Khomeini (RA) in Central Province.

The event, which is currently underway, has been set up on the occasion of the birthday of the Late Founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran Imam Khomeini (RA) coinciding with the birthday anniversary of Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) daughter Lady Fatima (SA).

The expo is showcasing about 100 artworks including calligraphy, miniature painting, and portraying by artists from across Iran.

The exhibit was opened on Friday, January 13, at Imam Khomeini's former home in Khomein and will run until January 20.

The event has been warmly welcomed by Iranian and non-Iranian visitors.
