Habib speaks English so lamely in ‘The Postgraduates’

In ‘The Postgraduates’, Habib improvises a fake last wish of a dead man.

In the 24th episode of iFilm TV’s comedy series ‘The Postgraduates’, Habib improvises a fake last wish of a dead man.

So far, Habib could be described as clumsy, desperate in love and so many similar adjectives. But tonight’s episode of the show is a game changer when Habib speaks English so lamely!

Mr. Mohajer wants to marry a woman whose uncle passed away recently. So, he takes the gang of the boys to the uncle's memorial ceremony to convince her family that they have to let their daughter get married soon after the ceremony.

When Taraneh’s father fails to accomplish what he is after, Habib tries to help and fakes a dream he had in which the dead uncle told him that the funeral and memorial service must be short and his family members must go on with their routine lives.

And since the uncle lived overseas, Habib picks English as the language to narrate the dream.

Produced by Reza Judi and directed by Soroush Sehhat, ‘The Postgraduates’ hits the air daily at 20:00 GMT. Each episode of the 28-part show is repeated the next day at 01:00, 07:00 and 12:00.

It tells the story of the graduates who have turned into the postgraduates, but the rest is just the same old same old.

The postgraduate Masoud is still dealing with his financial hardships to hold a wedding ceremony and start living his marital life with Taraneh.

The postgraduate Maziar is still eager to immigrate and live abroad. His parents are separated and his father is a drug addict.

The postgraduate Habib is still a wealthy boy who depends on his parents in all aspects of life. He still wants to find the girl of his dreams and get married.

Houtan Shakiba, Amir Kazemi, Amir-Hossein Rostami, Matin Sotoudeh, Kazem Sayyahi, Ezatollah Mehravaran, Roya MirelmiBijan Banafsheh-Khah, and Afshin Sangchap are on the cast list.
