Iranian director reacts to Nasrallah martyrdom

Famous Iranian director pays tribute to the former Secretary General of the Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.

In his written eulogy, Ebrahim Hatamikia expressed deep sorrow and disbelief at Nasrallah's martyrdom.

He reflected on Nasrallah's significance, saying, "It's hard to imagine Lebanon without you."

The director of many award-winning films, such as 'Glass Agency' and 'Bodyguard', wrote that he recalled waiting to meet Nasrallah in Lebanon but never having the chance.

"I was pretending to be a hero in a story when I heard that Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah had died," he noted, using metaphorical language. 

In a reference to film directing, he wrote, "The sound and camera may be off, but your movement will continue to al-Quds (Jerusalem)." 

The Resistance Movement said in a statement on Saturday that its Secretary General was martyred in the stikes.

Hezbollah also reiterated its commitment to persist in its struggle against the adversary, assist in Gaza and Palestine, and safeguard Lebanon.

The Resistance group offered condolences to Iran's Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and the Resistance combatants.

In a message of condolences, Iran's Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, declared five days of national mourning over the martyrdom of Nasrallah.
