Iran's children and youth fest chooses Butterflies of Resistance

The 36th International Film Festival for Children and Youth in Iran is set to open its doors next week with a powerful message of resilience and solidarity.

This year's festival slogan is "Butterflies of Resistance in the City of Life," symbolizing the struggles of oppressed people in West Asia.

The festival's choice reflects its commitment to addressing global challenges through the lens of cinema.

In a laudable move, the organizers have also dedicated a special section to children in Gaza, highlighting the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the region.

The six-day event, running from October 5 to 10 in the historic city of Isfahan, has attracted an impressive 176 submissions from 48 countries.

This diverse selection promises to offer audiences international perspectives on children's issues and youth culture.
