Famed Iranian director Majidi joins Friday Prayer led by Iran's Leader

Famed Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi attends this week's Friday prayer led by Iran's Leader of the Islamic Revolution.

Famed Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi, known for his critically acclaimed works in world cinema, attends this week's Friday Prayer led by Iran's Leader of the Islamic Revolution.

The prayer took place at the Imam Khomeini Grand Mosalla mosque in central Tehran, with many political, cultural, and artistic figures in attendance alongside millions of Iranians.

During his sermon at the Friday Prayer, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei hailed “the brilliant work of our armed forces” in launching a missile strike on the Tel Aviv area, saying it was “completely legal and legitimate."

“The brilliant work of our armed forces was completely legal and legitimate. What our armed forces did was the least punishment for the usurping Zionist regime over the astonishing crimes of this wolf-like regime and rabid dog of America," he said.

Majidi is an Iranian filmmaker and producer. His films, such as 'The Color of God', explore religious and social themes and have received numerous international awards.

His religious blockbuster biopic, "Muhammad: The Messenger of God," has achieved international acclaim.
