Iranian filmmaker Asghar Farhadi has announced plans to shoot his next film in New York City in 2025.
While he originally suggested Los Angeles as the location, he has since changed his mind.
The details of the movie, including its plot and cast, haven't been announced yet.
Farhadi is no stranger to filming outside Iran. He's already made two international movies: 'The Past' in France and 'Everybody Knows' in Spain.
But he's best known for his powerful Iranian dramas like 'About Elly,' 'A Separation,' and 'The Salesman'– films that have earned him recognition as one of the most respected international directors.
His two Oscar-winning masterpieces, 'A Separation' and 'The Salesman' won the Academy Award for Best International Feature Film.
