Red Crescent honored at Tehran City Theater

Red Crescent aid workers have been honored as special guests at Tehran City Theater.

Red Crescent aid workers have been honored as special guests at Tehran City Theater.

On Sunday night, the play 'Particles of Chaos', written and directed by Ebrahim Poshtkouhi, hosted a group of Iranian Red Crescent volunteers and relief workers at the main hall of Tehran City Theater, highlighting the show’s theme of Iranian identity and steadfastness in the Persian Gulf.

Before the show began, Kourosh Soleimani, an actor and head of the City Theater complex, welcomed the Red Crescent guests and thanked them for their service.

After the performance, director Poshtkouhi said he was honored to host the group of aid workers. He noted that the play had previously represented Iran at an important theater festival in Iraq, where it received strong applause from audiences.

Poshtkouhi also said the production is about Iran and the Persian Gulf. He also praised Red Crescent members who had taken part in relief efforts during the second and third imposed wars of the US and Israel against Iran, describing them as people whose actions have lasting meaning in history.
