Turkey cinemas host Iran 'Dreamland'

The Iranian animated feature 'Dreamland' has begun its theatrical run in 28 cities across Turkey.

According to the producers, the film started nationwide screenings on Friday and it is a joint production of Soureh Animation Center, Mahva Animation Center, Tehran Municipality's Cultural Affairs Department, and Ayandeh Negar Studio.

The animated film is directed by Mohsen Enayati and produced by Mostafa Hassanabadi. It attened the International Festival of Animation, Transmedia and Meta-Arts, Cartoons on the Bay in Italy.

'Dreamland' follows the journey of Arda, a young boy determined to save his city from looming destruction. To stop the catastrophe, he must embark on a perilous quest to recover a fabled sphere. Pasha, his funny and cute friend, and Tamara, the smart and clever girl of the story, are his companions on this path.

Distributed in Turkey by MC film, 'Dreamland' is currently showing in cinemas located in Istanbul, Kocaeli, Konya,  Van, Yalova, and Yozgat, among others.
