The film is going through the script writing stages while its creators plan to start filming in early October.
Saeed Elahi, the producer of the film, referring to the production process said: “This work will be a feminine and emotional narrative of the life, expectation and longing of the wives of the martyrs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Navy.”
Elahi also explained the formation of the idea for the film, saying, “After the Ramadan War and the Dena destroyer incident, the concern to address this issue was formed, and after the idea and plan were presented by Leili Aaj, the film director, negotiations to produce it began.”
According to him, after holding expert meetings and conducting the necessary consultations, the Political Ideological Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army has announced its main participation in the production.
Emphasizing the thematic capacities of this project, Elahi said, “This issue can be one of the strategic works in the country's cultural and cinematic portfolio, and the families of the Dena destroyer martyrs and the families of the armed forces have an important role and position on this path.”
He also called on other cultural institutions active in the field of cinema to participate alongside the Islamic Republic of Iran's army in the production so that the film can reach the Fajr Film Festival with a suitable script and appropriate production.
